A SHORT DESRIPTION OF WHAT WE DID ON DAY TWO

     On the second day of the training i can say i have had a wonderful new experience whereby i have learned how to search anything that is likely to be on internet because not all sorts of information can be found from the internet sources.So what we did was to look and think first of what we were going to search so as to know where to find it by choosing the right search words but also considering other Google search options including Wikipedia,this means i have learned that i need to cross check if the those different searches relate in someways,apart from that i have learned that i could follow the links for further details and grab only what is of interest,the last thing that i learned is that i should never copy-paste because that is considered as plagiarism then do whatever with the collected information as one can take notes to the note book or save it to the flash for further use.As for this case we tried to write down some few topics which we were to do a simple internet research on them for example we searched for POPULATION IN IRINGA then we shifted another topic on WHAT IS THE PHONE NUMBER OF THE MEDIA COUNCIL OF TANZANIA,we did the same to several other topics,in the end of the day each one of us was to choose one topic to work on it from the three topics that were provided. It is obvious that this was just a cool day as day one because everyday i tend to learn new things of importance not only to me but also to my society,in addition there was nothing wrong during this whole period of the day,the day was just perfect.

WHAT IS COMMON WITH LUPITA NYONGO AND PHIONA MUTESI

Having gone through different sources finding news about what is common between these two i came up with the answer that Lupita Nyongo will be featured in a new movie telling the story of Phiona Mutesi who just raised from being just a normal young chess player in Uganda to an International Star player.Basically these two are now very famous people from East Africa and as for Phiona is well known since she is the first female player of chess in Ugandan history and she is even called The Queen of Katwe due to her wonderful story in addition to that she is even said to be the youngest person ever to win the African Chess championships,as one can even find the book about her story,a book by Tim Crothers.When we speak about Lupita Nyongo again one can find out that she is also coming from Africa and to be specific from Kenya,Lupita also is a famous person since because she is a good black actress and she is even a film director who was born in Mexico and was raised in Kenya..Basically these two

THE FIRST DAY OF THE TRAINING
On the first day of the training we learned so many thing..first of all we each  created our own blogs..as for me I created my own blog with its heading MALAZ GREEN CAMP.This has been changed recently,at first it was headed DAXMALAZ,but my address remains the same (malazgreencamp.blogspot.com)
Actually i liked everything that was going on since i got to know new things as well as new people..apart from that i managed to create my new Gmail account which i did not have from the beginning.
I have nothing negative to say about day 1 everything went well
The last thing that i want to talk about day one of the seminar is that i can provide an example of the research that was done in some part of Colombia which was headed colombia stinks map by Betty Guzior from online sources.

Introductory

INTRODUCTORY

I am Deborah Malambugi .I am working with the Loyal College of Africa. I work as a tutor in journalism studies  for the students undertaking diploma .Basically in my work place I do use internet to search for new information using a smart phone so this is my opportunity to learn more about the investigative internet journalism.

 This week I am in the training on the Investigative Internet which is hosted by Peik Johansson from Finland.

My expectations during this period as well as in the end of this seminar are to learn a lot of new things concerning the use of internet particularly in the field of Journalism as well as to get the whole concept on the investigative internet journalism.
